Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

Re: LTE 2.0
Final update from Worlds: Team USA won a silver medal for Back to Me (Adult Jazz Group) and came in 5th for NYNY (Adult Jazz Formation). Not bad! Canada won Adult Jazz Group, and South Africa won Adult Jazz Formation. Both teams were fantastic.
They leave soon to return to the US; they arrive late tomorrow afternoon. Please send safe travel vibes!

Actually, I am going to Bob Green’s neck of the woods next Saturday to pick up Mom, but will be driving the unnamed VW.

Well, if your VW is a PoS, you could always consider yourself luckie and call it jamie...lawgrad91 wrote:Tapping foot at DD....devildeac wrote:Will you be taking any trips soon?lawgrad91 wrote:Meet the newest member of the family. His name is Grayson.

The VW is actually a good car, and pretty close to being blue. With all Mom’s junk, I need the trunk space of the VW in order not to have to attach her to the top of the car, so Grayson can stay at home.

I definitely wasn't suggesting it, but connecting the dots needed to be done.bjornolf wrote:I was thinking the exact same thing, but didn't wanna go there, since she was dead in the movie.YmoBeThere wrote:It worked for Chevy in Vacation...

Re: LTE 2.0
What a day. We have been giving our lake friends Brunswick stew. Bud went to one of our neighbours today and found him in bad shape. His house was filthy, he hadn't had a shower in days. This is not like him. Tomorrow, Bud will go back, clean up the house, get him in the shower and try to figure out if he needs to be seen by his doctor. Bud is not only a good person, but still a good PA, even retired. We will also make sure our neighbour has what he needs in his house. Our plan was to go home tomorrow but its looking like Thursday. God bless people in need.
