Good "Hump Day" morning. Storm track forecast models look more promising this morning with Matthew moving East and staying further off the coast. We will have to watch it the next 72 hours to make a game day travel decision.

Good morning!
Keeping a good thought regarding the storm, but got storm supplies yesterday just in case. Also worried about all those folks (1,000+) on bicycles heading for a Saturday arrival at Atlantic Beach (Cycle NC Mountains to the Coast ride)... Hubby and crew have a van with them and can bail whenever they think it's time, but so many of those folks have no option other than keep going until the ride organizers get buses in to move people out of the way.

Good morning. ~O) :9f:

Just spoke to my mom who lives in assisted living in Ft. Lauderdale. The facility has not told her anything about the approaching hurricane. I know they are making preparations and have plans in place if needed, and being 10 miles west of the beach shouldn't have major water intrusion problems. Not wishing bad things for Palm Beach and north, but I'm hoping the track takes Matthew there and not Lauderdale. I am concerned for friends who live close to the beach there.
