Good morning. It is going to be a beautiful weekend. Today's forecast calls for plenty of sunshine and a high of 51 followed tomorrow with temps in the mid-60s. You can't complain about sunshine and mid-60s on January 31st.

Good morning. It's nice to be home! When we got here last night about 8:00, we were amazed at how much snow remained in Greensboro on the roadsides. When we got to our house, we couldn't get the car into the garage because of the "snow lip" that was now ice in front of the garage - it always build up there when it snows and the 6" lip (about 4 feet wide from the driveway towards the garage door) was solid ice. I couldn't even walk up it in my sneakers without slipping. I left the car in the driveway overnight, still loaded with our stuff. I'll get the shovel (and ice pick) out this morning after it warms up a bit and get it taken care of. I'll try to remember to take of picture of this "glacier" before I destroy it and post it later.
