I bought Kirkland (Costco) brand popcorn. It is so good. No artificial ingredients. The price comes to a little less than 25 cents a pack. I love Costo.

He was admitted and given 2 units of blood. He has been contacted by an attorney regarding a class action suit. I ask him what percent the attorney would charge, 60% was the answer. I was shocked. I thought it be 40%. Cathy, LG anyone else who may know, is this normal for a CAS? Also, because a CAS is in progress, does he has to go that way? I'm at a loss. In all my years at Duke, I was never involved in a CAS. Any help is appreciated.
Once a group is certified as a class for purposes of a class action suit, attorney's fees and costs come off the top of the settlement and then the rest of the settlement is divided among the class. I don't know what the costs usually figure out to be, but I would think 60 percent seems high.

He does not have to join the class; he can opt out or sue on his own or attempt to work out his own settlement. I don't know many people who have ever tried that and can't give any advice about that. I have been a part of a few class action suits, but not for anything that made any difference to me, or frankly anything I paid attention to. I got a $20 check from Dish Network once, and a few bucks credit from an iTunes suit. That's about it.
Thanks, LG. :ymhug:

We can't have him here because he inside about all the time and has been know to "mark". I hate it. Maybe I can figure way to go later. :wizard: :wizard:

I saw where the Costco "Kirkland Brand" was on sale. Good to know the popcorn is tasty and inexpensive.

Shaq Powell's little brother is Malachi Briggs. I posted under the Football section, "Shaq Powell". There is a gofundme website in case anyone wants to donate money. The Powell and Briggs families have had enormous medical bills, and of course final expense.

Continued prayers for the families.

Heaven has received another little angel.

Interesting times ahead. Either tropical storm or hurricane set to hit between here and Corpus Christi on Tuesday morning. Think I'll pack a bag just in case I need to make a run for it. For those who know more than me, do fast-moving storms tend to stay weak?

Still no word from the former boss. I'm thinking no news is good news at this point. I would've heard quickly if the answer was no, right? My guess is it will take another week or for me to hear something from them. Until then, patience is a virtue.

If you are talking Carlos, odds are it won't be a big event windwise. Haven't paid much attention to it since it is crossing over Mexico first. Early season storms for the most part aren't that bad.

In Virginia, we would get hurricane threats a couple times a year. Typically the faster the storm, the weaker it is. The slow ones tend to spin out at sea and get stronger.

Ooh, a commercial with Angels baseball player Mike Trout. I heard he redecorated a Utah fan teammate's locker in the appropriate color blue :duke: during March madness.
