On second thought maybe Wes shouldn't come visit....he would be teaching Pippi MORE "tricks" than she already knows on her own! They both need the well mannered, practically perfect Tyler to teach them!lawgrad91 wrote:Wes chewed a hole in the Rev. Lawgrad's new shorts this morning. One would think after years of having dogs around he would know not to leave Milkbones in his pocket. (It would be asking too much for him to put his shorts away instead of tossing them on the bed....)

Good Morning!
Re: The Official "Good Morning" Thread
Good morning! Weeding is on the agenda today here in Raleigh, too. And now that we've had some rain, the ground isn't like concrete, so weeding should go easier.

Good morning.
We left Yankee Stadium after the top of the 8th with the Yankees leading 8-1 (we had to catch a train at Penn Station after a subway ride, only reason we left before the game was over). The Yankees won 8-7. Glad the hung on without us!
Oh, that's ARod signing autographs before the game!

Good morning!
This is a day of celebration! It's Senior Sunday at church, and Christian is going to be honored here (and at our church in San Jose). He's getting a scholarship given through the church which honors the memory of a young man who was a student at NCSU when he was tragically killed in a car accident. The church is giving the seniors a celebratory lunch after our worship service, and the parents get to speak about their kids for a while. I'm going to depart from the script, and instead of bragging all over my son, I'm going to thank all of the people at the luncheon for helping me to raise him into a remarkable young man. Christian finished his Eagle Scout project yesterday, so we have a lot for which to be thankful. (Now on to the paperwork. . .)
This afternoon, the bishop of the NCCUMC, and the clergy and members of Jon's 100 churches in the Capitol District are going to honor him at a "Rev Up" celebration and pig pickin' this afternoon near Raleigh.
Finally, I learned late yesterday that my Sam is flying in today for Christian's graduation which will be held on Wednesday. (ExLax's fiancee's father died, and the family decided to have the funeral on Wednesday, so she can't make the graduation here in Greenville. A few telephone calls later, and her non-refundable airline ticket was transferred over to Sam.)
Happy, happy, joy, joy!
