Today is my Friday. The Commonwealth is off tomorrow for Robert E. Lee/Stonewall Jackson Day.

I don't care whose day they give me off with pay, so long as they give them to me.

...and is the Commonwealth off Monday for MLK Day?
Yes we are!

The Commonwealth used to celebrate the third Monday in January as Lee/Jackson Day, and when MLK Day began to be honored, the Commonwealth added Dr. King to the equation and we had "Lee/Jackson/King Day." An odd combination, to be sure. About ten years ago, the powers that be decided that the state grunts should have a four day weekend, and the holidays were split by the weekend.

Good morning. Today's dilemma - I work in a 15 story building and the car next to me in the parking lot was running when I arrived. It is still running almost 2 hours later. How do you find the owner?

FWIW, someone was parked in my reserved spot yesterday. We have 22,000 people in our building. I forgot to leave a note.

Good morning. We are going to the lake. I'm going to take he Ipad, hoping I can get a signal for the internet. It's doubtful but worth a shot.

Maybe he didn't know how to turn the car off. We are test driving cars today. I feel like Granny Clampett with all the bells and whistles on the new ones. :9f:

Bigger problems is the keyless aspect of the cars. Since you don't need to remove a key from your pocket/purse to start the car and the cars are so quiet, you can park and walk away without realizing the car is still running. This happens if your are distracted between the time you put it in park and when you actually get out of the car. Of course, I'm just guessing on that - I haven't actually *cough* *couch* done it myself. :ymblushing:

I'm going to look at old cars, Barrett-Jackson auto auction. I know a couple sellers this time around. Then in to Vegas and then back to see the parental units.
