I'm waiting for the day that DD has ANYTHING for his avatar.CathyCA wrote:Couldn't you find an avatar that's not a queen? A king, perhaps?bjornolf wrote:All four of us are pretty hard-core PWs. We should hit it before 11:00 if we really want to. We should get a draft going.
Who thinks DD should adopt the queen PW for his avatar?

Twenty minutes? TWENTY MINUTES? Twenty minutes for mere mortals, maybe. We're talking about devildeac here! I'll take 15 minutes at the longest. ;)bjornolf wrote:Ah, 28 short now. Bring in DD. That's just twenty minutes of work for him. ;)

That's a bummer. What's your book about?bjornolf wrote:Going for 4000, eh? I'd support that. How short are we?
Just looking through lists of agents and publishers right now. Unfortunately, NOBODY seems to want to represent fantasy these days.

How long do you think it will take us to get to 5000?

An okay movie. It has Matthew McConaughey. I <3 Matthew McConaughey. (Edit: I keep trying to put "lovestruck" smilie and end up with "angry" smilie!)CathyCA wrote:I just watched The Wedding Planner on HBO.

If by "eye candy" you mean Matthew McConaughey, that's exactly what I thought of the movie!CathyCA wrote:It was an okay movie. Lots of eye candy in it.bjornolf wrote:Hey Cathy. Fantasy. Swords, Dragons, and wizards, that sort of thing. I bought the 2010 Writer's Market, but out of 70+ agents listed in there, only 3 of them represent fantasy authors. How crazy is that?ArkieDukie wrote:That's a bummer. What's your book about?bjornolf wrote:Going for 4000, eh? I'd support that. How short are we?

Wild. Does that have something to do with market percentages? Just curious. I've never thought about such things.bjornolf wrote:I bought the 2010 Writer's Market, but out of 70+ agents listed in there, only 3 of them represent fantasy authors. How crazy is that?
