Ugh they're packing my kitchen now. I'm feeling very wary about this. :-s

The insurance adjuster has a cousin in the cleaning business?

I liked my movers from the original move into this place. I should've hired them to pack my stuff and bring it to the cleaning place. Then had these guys clean it. I think I'd probably save a TON of money. Or insurance would save the money. ;) So, ah, what the hell.

Geez you'd think. But I was told "We can't tell you who to use. You have to use who you're comfortable with." Well this group is on their preferred list... hmmm. Plus, some other places I called wanted to charge for an estimate. Couldn't hang up the phone fast enough on those.

Our health insurance was at one time, requiring that we order maintenance medicines from a provider, of their choosing, by mail.
We always thought they must be cousins.
Thank God that it's been stopped.

An old friend just came in with meat for cookin' and two cartons of Spaten Optimators.
He's tryin' to bribe me into taking him fishing.
He has obviously not seen tomorrow's weather forecast. (cats and dogs and frogs all day)
I'm gonna have to do some schoolin'!

...after the beer. :D

I've had doctors send me to certain labs to get work/tests done, but they always disclosed if they had a stake in the lab. For some reason, I was ok with that.

Sue - you still staying at the Hilton? How long will it take for the apartment owner to fix your apartment so you can move back in? Sorry you're having to go through all this. Maybe it's time for you to go on vacation for a couple of weeks - a few days in Vegas, a few days in NC - from Derm to Emerald Isle and points in between!

Sue, you have my sympathies. Moving sucks. So does living out of a suitcase.

Cathy and Sue,

Vibes to you both. Cathy for unpacking, Sue for making it through the cleaning/apartment rehab "fun".

We got good news this week. Good score on our big site visit, so the grant was renewed for 5 years. 50% of salary is covered for the next 5 years. Yippee!

I didn't directly participate in the site visit, but I did lots of background stuff. Prepping for the visit meant missing HS reunion. I'll take the 50% salary for 5 years, though. :) :-B
