Hmmm, I thought I'd already posted this, the depart from RDU at 5:10pm, so a not quite 3 hour layover for hubby. Hopefully just enough time to see my brother's new house. Moving day was today.CameronBornAndBred wrote:This also sounds mathematically impossible. He's going to fly down tomorrow morning, change planes in Atlanta, get into Durham around 2:20pm and come back with Tommy at the regularly scheduled time of 5:10pm. Sound like fun?
As long as "departs 5:10" doesn't mean how I'd interpret it, which would be: doors close at 5:00; boarding starts at 4:15; plan on getting to security at least 30 min. prior, or at 3:45PM.Bostondevil wrote:Hmmm, I thought I'd already posted this, the depart from RDU at 5:10pm, so a not quite 3 hour layover for hubby. Would have been great if you said it this way:CathyCA wrote: I went to a wedding about 15 years ago, and when I read the wedding program, I almost laughed out loud. In the Order of Service, there was listed "The Pronunciation of Marriage," instead of "The Pronouncement of Marriage." I had wondered whether we were all going to say "Marriage" in unison at that portion of the ceremony.
Happy August 1st!!Bostondevil wrote:Bostondevil managed to upload an avatar. Don't worry, it won't stay that way for long.
At RDU, a 5:10 departure means arrive at 4:15, finish dropping bags by 4:30, get through security at 4:45, boarding starts around 4:55 and depart about 5:15.DevilAlumna wrote: As long as "departs 5:10" doesn't mean how I'd interpret it, which would be: doors close at 5:00; boarding starts at 4:15; plan on getting to security at least 30 min. prior, or at 3:45PM.
And with my luck, that 2:20PM arrival would be 30 min. late, then sit on the tarmac for another 30 while the gate staff gets their heads out of their arses.
That is a great picture of you!!!!Bostondevil wrote:Bostondevil managed to upload an avatar. Don't worry, it won't stay that way for long.
I read that wrong and was thinking they were arriving in Boston at 5:10. Nice hair!Bostondevil wrote:Hmmm, I thought I'd already posted this, the depart from RDU at 5:10pm, so a not quite 3 hour layover for hubby. Hopefully just enough time to see my brother's new house. Um, yea, how do you think you got such a commanding lead? I doubt I'll ever catch up now, not unless you go on vacation for like two weeks. LIke I said, now that I've passed my DBR level, I'm not going to actively PW any more. I mean, sure I'll still post. But I think you'll find my daily number of posts average is going to drop off pretty significantly.devildeac wrote:Promise: there will be no personal PWing/drafting to the level I reached last Saturday. That bordered on pathological. Seriously. Really.
Lisa! I love your picture!Bostondevil wrote:Bostondevil managed to upload an avatar. Don't worry, it won't stay that way for long.
Agreed. Very nice.CathyCA wrote:Lisa! I love your picture!Bostondevil wrote:Bostondevil managed to upload an avatar. Don't worry, it won't stay that way for long.
Thank you, my dear!Bostondevil wrote:But we have Ozzie and wherever Ozzie goes, 9F is relevant.
Don't worry, George remains my one and only 'Get Out of Jail Free' card. I've just been watching so much 'Lost' that I've developped an appreciation for a shirtless Mr. Holloway. Have you been reading my thread on the DBR?
Me too! I vote you keep the avatar for a long time!CathyCA wrote:Lisa! I love your picture!Bostondevil wrote:Bostondevil managed to upload an avatar. Don't worry, it won't stay that way for long.
1. Have you ever felt you should cut down on your PWing?devildeac wrote:Promise: there will be no personal PWing/drafting to the level I reached last Saturday. That bordered on pathological. Seriously. Really.
