Good "Hump Day" morning! Hump Day is also garbage day in my neighborhood so I'm off to drag cans to the curb before heading to work.

Our garbage pick-up is on Tuesday mornings. We call Monday night "Trash Eve." Naming it makes the chore of taking out the trash and recycling a tad more exciting than it would otherwise be.Bob Green wrote:Good "Hump Day" morning! Mom's trash day (in Chesapeake) is Wednesday, too, which means most every Wednesday night I hear some saga of trash; who carried her cans to the street, or didn't, who brought them back, or didn't, whether they were turned in the wrong direction for her to get to them. Once the cleaning girl mixed up the recyclables and the trash, which caused Mom no end of consternation.

Nope, I live West of I-664 in the Joliff/Western Branch section of Chesapeake.lawgrad91 wrote: Deep Creek?
I routinely run out of room in the recycle can (damn beer bottles) so I just toss recycle stuff in the trash.lawgrad91 wrote: Once the cleaning girl mixed up the recyclables and the trash, which caused Mom no end of consternation.

Good morning. We don't have garbage pick up but do have recycle pick
up every other week. Between recycling and composting, we only have a garbage can full, maybe once a month. Of course, Bud takes it to the dump.
