too cute!lawgrad91 wrote:Funny church story. One of the people I will miss from the Rev. Lawgrad's first church is Evelyn, a sweet little retired English teacher. I told her, "you can take it home and reheat it for a later meal." She fixed me with her steely eyes and said, "Dawn, I am eighty-seven years old. I never take food home. My great aunt (who passed away at 93) said the same thing about bananas...she would not buy unripe banana's becasue she didn't plan that far ahead.

My mom, only 83, would make at least 2 more meals out of those leftovers! She currently has a refrigerator full of her leftovers from my visit last week. Hopefully, she's already eaten the stuff from earlier in the week...IowaDevil wrote:too cute!lawgrad91 wrote:Funny church story. One of the people I will miss from the Rev. My brother used to call that "The fish are taking a nap."YmoBeThere wrote:They were all swimming fine when I fed them last night. 3 are floating and the 4th is covered with spots. Poor guy doesn't look like he is going to make it.
I'm so sorry, Ymo.

I've come to grips with the fish, not sure what happened but well, they are gone now. Tanks is emptied and things are cleaned up. Not sure what I will do with it.

The cats are good, integration of the blind kitten continues to be a tough task but the fighting from a couple months ago is gone. Still a long way away from peace and harmony, but getting better.lawgrad91 wrote:Ymo, sorry about your fish. How are the kittehs?YmoBeThere wrote:Second post of July, 2013

I went to Jethro's "I'm running for Commonwealth's Attorney" press conference today. Was on local TV standing next to his mama and daddy. Figured I might as well.

Vibes for happiness and peace with the cats. Glad things have improved on that score.YmoBeThere wrote:The cats are good, integration of the blind kitten continues to be a tough task but the fighting from a couple months ago is gone. For those of you on FB that I have friended, I have a request. I shared a page called Everything Emma. She is a special needs dog and is in a contest. Could you please go vote for her? As a pet parent to two special needs pets, I am extremely sympathetic to their causes. I've learned so much from the ones I have and have had, definitely a greater appreciation for life.
