Grant Hill Retires
What a class act. I think he and Shane are two of my favorite Duke players of all time.
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

Saw this on the NBA Network, he was giving Kenny Smith a hard time about Kerolina. A much deserved hard time.

All the best to Grant. He was a freshman my last year at Duke. What a talent, and what a great ambassador for Duke.

Re: Grant Hill Retires
I heard Grant Hill was retiring on ESPN radio! Grant has had a long run in the NBA, and getting paid to do what he loves to do.... playing basketball! I hope he finds his way back to Duke, in some capacity! A class act from the time he entered Duke!!!!
Never will forget the letter Grant wrote in response to Jalen Rose!
http://thequad.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/0 ... alen-rose/
The ending of the letter in the newspaper:
I caution my fabulous five friends to avoid stereotyping me and others they do not know in much the same way so many people stereotyped them back then for their appearance and swagger. I wish for you the restoration of the bond that made you friends, brothers and icons.
I am proud of my family. I am proud of my Duke championships and all my Duke teammates. And, I am proud I never lost a game against the Fab Five.
Grant Henry Hill
Phoenix Suns
Duke ’94
I wish Grant the best in his next venture!!

He's definitely not done. We'll all be watching to see what brilliant thing he does next.
