Kes is leading.

I was hoping Danica would win, not because I chose her but because a bunch of people on another forum that I frequent had a pool going on how many laps she would finish before she either crashed or caused others to crash. Some of the comments were along the lines of 'she sucks' while others were along the lines of 'all women drivers suck'. Funnily enough, those participating in that thread the most claim not to be big NASCAR fans and very few of them participate in the fantasy league I've set up there the last two years.

According to ESPN, TV ratings were up some 25% over last year (yeah, but that was a crappy rainout deal), and higher than any Daytona 500 in the last five years.
