I'm thinking back to a game with UVA during the Sampson era. No snow predicted. It was really hot in Cameron. I think we only won by a point or two. Then we all filed out to a surprise-snow-blanketed parking lot. All the covered up cars looked just alike and it was mass confusion since folks couldn't remember exactly which spots they had parked in. The temp had dropped dramatically. (Or maybe Cameron had just sucked all heat out of the air outside.) But, the ground was icy slick.

That was the night the OP had me get into the way back of the station wagon for "ballast". I've never forgiven him for that one.

We never beat Ralph Sampson. We were 0 for his career at Virginia.

I know there was one game in the mid 80's that I didn't go to because of the snow storm. The entire CIS was populated with students, almost no season ticket holders ventured out. I think that game was against Clemson.

Might have been clemson. I DO remember the uniforms were orange. And I remember thinking (while holding down the rear end) that had we lost, that that would have been even more aggravating.

Harrumph.

Had a low tire this morning, and when I got to the gas station, the air hose let out more air, and I had to limp home and change cars to the one that must have something dead in the air intake, because it smells like rotten meat.

As if that didn't just start my day off with a bang, I have to go to the OB/GYN at lunchtime.

Hopefully all this bad stuff will end and we will beat Miami tonight, and then all will be forgiven.

And go Yellow Jackets!

Amen, sister! Except the "man-o-gram" should be a little further off the ground. The last time I had a mammogram, the person before me must have been the height of Allison Vernerey.

It was nice to find out that our insurance has changed, and as a part of our "wellness" program, we have no copay for checkups.

Nope. The judge who conducted the pretrial hearing is not the judge who will conduct the trial.

I'll bring it out at trial. One way or another, I'm going to get some $$$ out of that defendant. He is going to pay support for his wife and child.
