Very quiet on the hump.

Post by Ima Facultiwyfe » January 7th, 2013, 9:28 am

It was a rough night for the heels last night. It's not been much fun to be a heel lately. Bless their hearts, hey don't want to talk about it.

That's like turning away from the Hindenburg blowing up only to see the Titanic sink.

Here's the carnage:

Ya gotta wonder why Strickland even suited up with his stat line. And his one shot was apparently an air ball..

Florida State opened as a 2 point favorite and is currently favored by 3.5 and 4 points at the various sport books.

Leslie McDonald is out the next three games, even though his tricky knee is medically cleared.

He said he did not "take care of [his] responsibilities as a student-athlete."

So what does that mean? How long have the sheep been back in school? Did the Swahili class start meeting without letting him know? :ymdevil: :9f:

Even more fun to see it revived today. Although, it may not be very quiet over there - probably some whining about Duke getting all the calls going on.

Nope, not much lamenting around here. I did a lot of lurking today -- dr's waiting rooms, lines at Southpointe, etc. They were just shaking their heads and softly tsk-tsking to one another repeatedly, "I thought they had it. I thought they had it." Not many of the usual barbs from facebook buds, either. Must admit it sort of took some of the fun out of it.

Gotta admit that seeing some spark of life from the heels is a good thing. It means they won't be as quick to dump Ol Roy. I want to keep him around for a while. Hes such great fodder, bless his heart.

I had court with the biggest hole fan in the Sheriff's Office today. He was strangely quiet, and I didn't say a word, letting my presence speak for itself. :9f:

On the flip side, TigerDevil came through the office, and we yelled and clapped high fives. :duke:

Well, it's sure quiet around MY house on the hump today. This was a brutal gauntlet our guys ran through this week. Everybody rested up in advance but them.Perfect storm after perfect storm. Hot tubs and massages and lots of water all 'round, everybody. The same thing's coming around again. :|
