So now it looks like we'll be inviting Louisville to the ACC. I like it better than UCONN since Louisville also has a pretty impressive football program to add to solid men's and women's basketball teams.

Poor UCONN...they've been begging twice now and we've slammed the door in their face both times.

I have to admit that I can't even remember who all is in the ACC now. Is it too much to ask that things slow down long enough for me to catch up and for somebody to design a new logo?

Syracuse, Pitt, Louisville, Notre Dame, BC, Miami, FSU. This is not the ACC I knew as a young man. But I'll adapt.

At least the Atlantic Coast Conference isn't adding a team from the Pacific, like the Big "East," who is adding Tulane, Boise State, and San Diego State. $:-\$

Lavabe, or someone else familiar, what is Louisville's academic reputation? Better than Maryland?

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but people at Carolina have said a lot of things that didn't happen.
