Ok...it's "Surf & Turf" time, thanks to a bit of pushing from DevilDeac and contributions from Ozzie in the form of Val's Brisket. Once again, we are gifted with a late afternoon game so that means plenty of time to come enjoy the atmosphere on Devil's Alley. The Devil's Walk should be about 12:30, the cows and the fishes will be hitting the table around 1pm. To complement the tastiness of the brisket, the 'Cue Crew will be adding a nice sized chunk of standing prime rib roast as well as filets of a fish yet to be determined. Mr. and Mrs. Devildeac will be bringing some olive oil glistened raw veggies for grilling (that will be cooked as long as they remind me). Add to all of this for your pre-walk grazing pleasure some shrimp and other grilled side-effects. (Like the ABT's...which can have side-effects that last until the next morning. ;) )

I'll be attending with my wife, daughter and grandson so it is Bob Green +3. I'll provide corn-on-the-cob, which means I'll need some grill time. For drinks, we will have water and hard lemonade available in our cooler for sharing. And for DevilDeac, August West and dpslaw, I'll bring a few pints of:

We are off to a GREAT start with that menu.

The raw veggies for grilling/roasting will be delivered and CB&B will be reminded to grill them. Mrs. DD will not forget her veggies ;) .

I'm coming to the tailgate but can't stay for the game. We have a "must" wedding" at 5:00 at the Angus Barn.

Mom and I will be there. We're bringing her friends John and Patsy. John is here in N.C. playing in a seniors tennis tournament. They are excited about coming over to campus. Of course, if John continues to advance in his tournament, they won't be at the game. . .

My best guess right now = CathyCA+3

Once again I have a work event just prior to the game (youth morning only this time, but further away). I hope to arrive by 1, but it might be closer to 2:00.

Sam, his squeeze, Dan, and me. I'm still trying to talk Mrs Murray into making an appearance.

So for now, 4 (and maybe 5).

We will bring some paper with pictures do dead presidents, and some sort of desert (since we may not arrive in time for the meal).

Add one more. Cheercoach daughter will be able to stop by for a bit before she has to meet her girls to practice and warm up.

On another note, in addition to the Blair Holliday table that we have at our tent, I am going to have a table at the Iron Dukes reception in Wilson Gym to collect donations and sell bracelets. If anyone is interested in taking a short shift over there to staff the table and relieve me so I can play hostess to our new cheer parents at our tailgate, that would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Awesome tailgate. More than awesome game. Bud & I saw a little of the first half before we had to leave for the wedding. We listen to the radio on the way. DukePA text the scores to us. Thank you sweetie!! The day was wonderful. Loved seeing 2 of our grandsons, Kyle and Max and our daughter, DukePA and all friends today. GO DUKE!!!!!
