I count us twice, but don't see any reference to the University of Non Compliance.

We need six wins. We only have four now. Which is far better than one or two.Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:Do my eyes deceive me?

Sure, I know we have a ways to go, but my point is why isn't the university of non compliance on the watch list when we're mentioned by each of the gurus?

Re: Bowling
So is this the first time in modern football history that Duke is projected as a possible participant in two different bowls?

Re: Bowling
Is this their probation year or was it last year? Or do they have more than one year of bowl bans ?Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:Sure, I know we have a ways to go, but my point is why isn't the university of non compliance on the watch list when we're mentioned by each of the gurus?

That game on Saturday reminded me of the win at NC State from the Thad Lewis era. Our team played with passion, confidence and energy against an ACC team for the first time in a long time. A win against UVA is vitale to us being able to go Bowling. Can't wait for the tailgate saturday!! GO DUKE!

Re: Bowling
I'm going to temper my optimism. In 2009, we were 5-3..and needed just one more game. Obviously, we didn't get it. Before the season started I predicted us going 8-4 this year, and I still think that can happen, we are on track...but we could also tank. I'm not gonna make my plans until we get the 6th...but I'm also having fun waiting for it.

Re: Bowling
We need two wins the next three weeks against Virginia, Virginia Tech and North Carolina. After that, the schedule is tougher, but Georgia Tech is vulnerable and Clemson has a propensity to give up a lot of points. Before the season started, I would've pointed at Miami as a winnable game, but the 'Canes are looking pretty tough these days. FSU is on another planet.CameronBornAndBred wrote:I'm going to temper my optimism...I'm not gonna make my plans until we get the 6th...but I'm also having fun waiting for it.
I like the way Desmond Scott talked in his post game interview, one game at a time. The goal is to go 1-0 each Saturday. He was impressive in his interview. A very well spoken young man.
