Prayers and vibes for the family of Anthony Busic, a DukeDiv grad and good friend of mine, who passed away yesterday. He had diabetes and associated complications.

Murder trial being over (except for the sentencing).

We went to Flemings and by happy coincidence, ran into friends there. I got a little too friendly with the Merlot.

From last night's "Good Morfternoon" thread:

Break from murder case. All we have left is the statement of the defendant, which is on video and lasts 1 hour and 24 minutes. About an hour and ten minutes of that consists of the defendant using the f word. I think he uses it at some point as every part of speech.

Good morfternoon, and harumph. PHB is back a day early.

On a positive note, he has decided that giving up drinking entirely was a little much and has decided a beer on occasion is not a bad thing.

Murder conviction. Sentencing in October.

Went to Flemings to celebrate. By happy circumstance ran into some friends.
