Deal of the Summer Redux!

It's back! Kangaroo stores are selling ($6.99 each) their insulated Roo Cups again, starting today. The deal is a little different this year, refills are 25 cents instead of free (bummer), but you get a 22 oz. soft drink or slushy as often as you want until Labor Day at any of their 2200 stores up and down the east coast! But you better hurry because they'll only be available for a limited time. They went on sale at 7 pm tonight and will be gone in a couple of days. I got mine at 7:01

Yup, I've got one of those too! And I still use it for 99 cent refills. There Roo day deals pretty much tailed off as the winter wore on, but their coffee is excellent. And last year, I used the larger Roo cup for free refills of coffee in the original Roo cup in the mornings, and the clerks never said boo, so I'll do the same this summer! They couldn't care less.

I just bought Christian a Roo Cup at the Kangaroo Express that is located across the street from the Kangaroo Express where I bought my Roo Cup. (Yes, there are two Kangaroo Expresses located at the intersection of Arlington and Evans in G-Vegas.)

Note to self: this Kangaroo Express doesn't have a slushie machine. I guess I won't be patronizing this particular Kangaroo store any more this summer.
