I was at the finish line for Seattle Slew and the thrilling Affirmed & Alydar stretch run. Between the two of us, we saw the last three Triple Crown winning races! :D

I really hope this time that the Triple Crown is won.

I ran into PHB today at the conference I'm attending. It was like pulling teeth to get him to even say hi to me. It was quite awkward; the person with me noticed it as well. How the heck am I supposed to collaborate with someone who won't even talk to me?

I wonder how many people are playing with Google today and annoying the hell out of their co-workers.

For the record, I played not, either with co-workers or Google.
Tomorrow, I'm playing with unsuspecting piscatorial creatures! (and a beer or seven) :D

Oz, from what I've been reading, you should lawyer up. Looks like people were playing dirty pool before the IPO. FB lowered their Q2 estimates and raised the offer price but didn't tell anyone except the major IPO backers.

Yup, read that too. Scummy shit. I think for the long run Ozzie will do ok though. Facebook is not going anywhere, and in a few years that price is going to look very nice in hindsight.

I think there is an ap for cowbell! As for battery life, I'll have to let you know. At the end of the day (10 pm), with moderate use it was down to 15% and I plugged it in. I had made some phone calls, texting and some some web surfing, but not that much. I have a car charger but did NOT use that yesterday because I didn't drive anywhere yesterday ( :happy-bouncyblue: ). Normally I will, or can. Plus, Costco gives me a second battery and charging dock, which I mailed off the forms for yesterday, so in 6 or 8 weeks I'll have that if it proves to be a problem when I can't charge on the go. Doesn't help you any though, YMO.
