How much of the $525 do you get to keep?

Since it was a purchase award the gallery percentage of 30% did not apply, so I got all of it. Second place came with another $400. So now you will be getting a check sent Monday for our tailgate tent.

The money is nice, but this is bigger than that. It's the feeling that while you were painting all alone all those hours all those nights, you weren't alone after all. It's the validation artists long for.
