I am not sorry to see The Black Falcon aka Skype Boy go - although given that he was hyped as the best high school player 'eva' his underachievement has provided me with constant amusement. Fly away dingy grey buzzard, fly away.

The Black Falcon (Falco subniger) is a medium-large falcon that lives only in Australia, attempts to establish the species in Chapel Hill, NC proved disappointing and were abandoned. It is mainly found in open grasslands and woodlands in the semi arid inland parts of Australia. First year falcons are a dark black in colour fading to browner black in successive years. It is fast flying for its size with tapering, pointed wings.

The Black Falcon's prey is mainly birds, such as quail, various parrot species, finches, magpies, crows, starlings etc, but it has a particular taste for Jayhawks.

The Black Falcon got sick after the meal of Creighton Bluejay, and was unable to make any headway with the enormous Jayhawk.

The Falconer will probably wear a Jayhawk this weekend.
