I forgot to mention on the point about Duke girls not being pretty: Miss America would have graduated in my law school class but she took a year off to shake hands and kiss babies and graduated in 1992. So what year did a ewe get Miss America?DukePA wrote:I found one decent review on the festering pile of shit: "Sassy drivel lapped up by a hungry market. They had Reed Tucker, the author of this book and a Carolina grad, on the radio this morning. He is about the LEAST unbiased guy I've ever heard. He had the radio show guys, professed Duke haters, defending Duke. He brought up K's cursing, which the radio guys had to point out is pretty common among coaches. He talked about his reaming out of a Chronicle reporter for grading the team a B+ back in 1990. He picked on K's hair. Said the girls at Duke weren't very good looking, and said the cheerleaders were ugly. Quoting Doh maybe? Brought up the media's love and "Dukie V" mentioning us during games not even involving Duke. (I saw a game where he did this once, but he mentioned Carolina four more times than he mentioned Duke.) also brought up how happy he was that we're out of it this year.
Jealous much? This sounds more like something a Maryland grad would write, at least to me. Anyway, not a big fan.

Nearly ended my life today while driving my Honda. I was doing 40 in a 45 mph zone, going straight, green light, when "that TARHOLE" white pickup truck pulled out in front of me while he had a stop light. Nearly tboned "that TARHOLE," but the brakes on my Honda worked beautifully. "That TARHOLE" was just oblivious and puttered away. What an asshat "that TARHOLE!"ArkieDukie wrote:Can we hereby declare that all cars to be call "that POS" should instead be called "that tarhole"?CathyCA wrote:Come to think of it, I referred to my last car as "that POS."

Tarholes? A lot of them have stickers-decals and/or plates that verify the fact. All suspicions confirmed!

The above demand is actually too late.
They have already placed themselves there, what with all the consternation over kendall marshall.
I do wish good health to all.

Not really, he's in court. Apparently he got 7 stitches in his noggin last night after whacking a piece of furniture with his cranium.

PHB came down from court and cracked up laughing. He then CRAWLED UNDER the crime scene tape to get his coffee cup, and crawled back out.
