The fun and success you're having with your newly found medium is inspiring! I'm currently absorbed in learning some calligraphy and working on a big rug design but you sure are making me miss playing in all that colorful goo! Keep posting. I love seeing what is keeping you off the streets and out of trouble!!!

Having fun with abstracts tonight before I hit the hay. I'm learning to really love the acrylics...very fast and loose. (Everyone one of y'all just thought of a joke, admit it.) These are small, 12 X 4 inches.

I just thought of another joke, but it pertained to the last sentence you typed. ;)

Well, I must be more dense than I thought. Not a single joke came to mind. Glad you're having such fun, CB. Have you tried thinning your paint down a la watercolors?

I think it pertained to the "small, 12x4 inches" comment, Ima.

It was actually about the "fast and loose"...Cathy's sick and twisted female mind locked in on 12 X 4 inches. :)) I wouldn't want to thin down the paints since then I might as well paint with watercolors, but I have used them here and there as a glaze wash over colors I have applied more densely.

I do think that one could be considered to have a sick and twisted mind if one should relate 12X4 size of a certain thing as ...(ahem) small.

Fellers, we should all be so fortunate. Don't 'cha think? :D
