Key Largo and Marathon, both in the "upper Keys", are both great. And they are a much MUCH shorter drive than going all the way to Key West. But I guess everyone wants to go to Key West at least once...
Enjoy the 7 Mile Bridge. It's not so bad now that they have 4-laned the highway. Traffic was a real bitch "back in the day".
Well traffic on beyond sucked on 95, so anything is better than that nightmare. I posted a pic on facebook of a car facing the wrong way of the two express lanes, if I had been patient I would have noticed the car in front of it, the one on it's roof.
Largo was cool, we went out on a glass bottom boat, which was about a 2.5 hour trip. We went over a reef and saw some amazing fish. I've snorkeled in Largo before, but the water is still only 77 right now so looking down while staying dry sounded like a good idea. We are now at my parents' place in Key West and getting ready to go exploring. They drove us downtown last night, it's pretty insane.
Good morning!!

Good morning.
I commented last night on Facebook about the upside down car. Enjoy Key West! If my parents had a place there, we would have gone down more often! But that's why I/we go to Ft. Lauderdale!

What a beautiful day. I saw a dove in the yard and heard a wood pecker this morning.
Good morning.

WARNING! WARNING!
Time to be crass!
It's a good thing that this guy >>>

Sorry, but I
had to say it.

Harumph.
At least my two day jury trial turned into a 30 minute guilty plea.

Good morning! Today is the next-to-last day with PHB (who, by the way, has been extremely nice to me since I told him I was leaving).

Good morning! Woke up in my own bed this morning (so glad to be home from Indy) after finding it hard to settle down and go to sleep following that game! I expect I'll go to bed early, early tonight. Wonderful Friday to all!

Good morning. Coffee at the Roo in a few minutes, two in fact. It's a "Roo day" - 49 cent coffee refills in my Duke cup all the way to Florida!
Wanted to leave ~7 a.m., but getting to sleep about 3:30 a.m. changed that a bit. Ok, 7:40. If I had a schedule other than one of my own making, and having a 12 hour drive in front of me, I'd be late, but other than getting to my mom's condo, no one is waiting for me so I'm not late! And I won't hurry on the road - I-95 for the next 680 or so miles, then the FL Turnpike for another 70.
See y'all on the other side!

We'll wave into the distance as we pass you somewhere. We woke up in Naples and are heading somewhere north of Gainesville today. I got some sort of bug yesterday morning, so I've felt lousy but I'm still having a great time. We took an airboat ride and toured a safari park, which for $23 each was probably one of the most "worth it" things we've done. Our guide got us stuck, and had to get out and push..that was interesting. Another passenger got out and helped, which was a thought that didn't even cross my mind. As we continued west on 41, I had Julie stop in a few places along the way so I could take photos. The canal next to the road was literally crawling with gators and beautiful birds; it was pretty tempting to just get out and hike it a mile or so. Getting into Naples after dark kind of sucked, especially since all the hotels were booked. We did find a very cute (and cheap!) one though, so we were happy.
Time to head north, Good Morning!

PHB still in Richmond.
I have a mammogram scheduled for this afternoon. I bet that will wake me up.
Ozzie and CB&B, safe travels!
