Oh yeah, that 'cue is wonderful! I wasn't ready to drive by there at 9:00 yesterday morning, however.devildeac wrote:I think you need to return to sample the 'cue at the Skylight Inn, too. I'm back from court in Ayden, the home of the North Carolina Collard Festival. In the courtroom is a mixed-media painting/sculpture of a collard, sort of 3D, jumping out of the frame. I'm not sure whether the artist used textiles or paper fiber in sculpting the collard. Had the painting been located anywhere other than at the front of the courtroom, I would have examined it more closely. I think I need to plan a return trip when court is not in session to take a look at this thing.
Parker's is good, too. Mr. Parker is an Iron Duke with season tickets to Duke football and basketball.
The best BBQ in town (and since we're talking eastern N.C. BBQ, it's actually the best in the nation), however, is at B's Barbecue out on B's Barbecue Road and N.C. 43. YUM!

Good morning!
Christian gets braces this morning. Then I'm driving Sam to Charlotte. Then, I will drive back to Greenville. I guess I'm not going to work today.

Good Morning!!!
It's Fridy the 13th. And Duke played a good ole ACC basketball game and came away with a great Win over the Cavs/Wahoos/Hoos/Yahoos last night. Connecting on Free Throws would have made for a double digit win! I listened to Duke Radio and the post game comments from Coach K and Coach Capel.
A Winnie the Pooh day here...... its blustery, as Piglet and Pooh would say.
You guys that went to the game last night..... good job of clapping, cheering and standing up and keeping the Blue Devils inspired and encouraged.
This is my 1000th post. Oh my goodness, I dont know how some of you have 1000s of posts.
Happy Friday the 13th and Great win last night!!!

Good morning from St. Louis, where it is COLD! Regardless, we're venturing out for lunch today to celebrate the fact that PHB is out of town.
