Good morning!

I'm back from court in Ayden, the home of the North Carolina Collard Festival. In the courtroom is a mixed-media painting/sculpture of a collard, sort of 3D, jumping out of the frame. I'm not sure whether the artist used textiles or paper fiber in sculpting the collard. Had the painting been located anywhere other than at the front of the courtroom, I would have examined it more closely. I think I need to plan a return trip when court is not in session to take a look at this thing.

I think you need to return to sample the 'cue at the Skylight Inn, too. Their 'cue is consistently mentioned/highly rated in BBQ handbooks/articles and we need a first hand-to-mouth report sometime ;;) .
