In Fantasy, I think it's be between colchar and me for this week.

Stewart comes in 1st, but Edwards came in 2nd.
Pretty amazing. Edwards congratulated Smoke. Edwards is now only ahead by three points.

I think that's it for the Chase. It's just those two drivers left in the Chase. Harvick is now way back at 33 pts behind in 3rd. Kenseth is 38 pts behind in 4th. Kes 49 pts behind in 5th. JJ is 55 back in 6th. JJ is NOT winning it this year, folks.

Indeed!! You won this week by 3 pts over me.

With two races left in the season, my lead is now 292 pts over 2nd place knights, with Ymo 3 pts behind knights. Colchar is 308 pts further behind, and Tilly is 426 pts behind colchar.

On to Phoenix! NOTE: They resurfaced the track since earlier in the NASCAR season. Picking a winner there may be like playing roulette.

I am only 67 (or thereabouts) points behind for the fall session so, with two races left, I have a chance to salvage something from my season by winning that.

I believe I am tied in second place in overall wins but the weeks in which I didn't win I did very poorly which hurt my place in the overall standings. It was that lack of consistency that killed me whereas when I won the whole thing last year I at least managed to do well on weeks when I didn't win outright.

Lavabe, on the other hand, has been consistent as hell all year!

According to ESPN, looks like JGR may have Aric Almirola drive the #18 instead of Blech, perhaps for both Phoenix and Homestead. Apparently, the M&M folks are beyond pissed at Blech, who represents their brand.

ESPN just reported that Blech will compete in the #18 Interstate Battery car. M&M's pulled out of the sponsorship in the final two races.

Updates:
1) According to ESPN, Blech will receive more penalties from JGR, but JGR never considered firing him. It remains to be seen whether M&M's will remain a sponsor next year.
2) Reutimann is gone from Michael Waltrip Racing after this season. Considering that he has another year on his contract, it'll be interesting to see what happens.
3) Still no update as to what will happen to David Ragan for next season.
4) And of course, there's no update on what JGR will do with Logano.

Lap 179 CAUTION Vickers hit Kenseth, and blew Kenseth's car into the wall (Kenseth had brake issues up to the moment). The commentators say it is probably payback for Martinsville. I don't think it was. Kenseth was having brake issues, and Vickers piled into him.
