She's still on IVs here at home. Doc appointments this week. Maybe we'll know more after that. So far this antibiotic seems to be working, although side affects are really bothersome. She still has two or three more days of it.

Up in her room I can see she's begun prep work for the beginning of the school year. I hope she can be stronger by then. Only a little more than a week away. What I worry most about is her return to the bacteria infested city schools before she's really well.

Bottom line is she's better off than a year ago and we seem to be headed in the right direction again.
Thanks to all for the continued vibes. I know we've had way more than our share, but they've surely kept us afloat!

The docs agreed this week that since she's still got some uncooperative spots she should go with another round of antibiotics, so we continue. Actually, we're somewhat relieved, feeling they've pulled the IV prematurely twice in the past. Two steps forward, one step back. We'll take it rather than the other way around.

DukeRah is officially off the PICC line and today was cleared for work on Monday. Still not 100%, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that she continues to improve. VooDoo vibes still appreciated for keeping Bugaboo microbes at bay, but you can "un-sticky" us for now! Thanks for all the loving care!
