Okay, here's the thread for Round Two. (Thread is loaded with heavy vibes for the team to deliver great things.)

This will be another test lab for the TBCC so we're gonna' present you folks with some pjork ribs and some yard bird (in several disguises).

The target for serving is between 1:30 and 2:00p

TNTDevil (+7?):
Sour cream coffee cake
Bruschetta w/Italian Bread
Cheddar Beer Spread

Smoked Chicken Thighs- sauced in various ways (BBQ, Bacon/Lemon/Garlic/White BBQ);
Wings- Hot, Bacon/Lemon/Garlic;
Smoked pjork ribs;
Baked Beans;
Grilled Italian garlic bread;
Key Lime Bars;
Coconut-Lime Sorbet;
Reese's PB Cheesecake.

CB&B (+1?):
Smoked pjork ribs;
Smoked chicken thighs (TNT is doing half the ribs/thighs, CB&B will be doing the other half. A little sporting competition between the 'Cue Crew. Voting welcome and encouraged..we are looking to be at our best for our October cookoff.)

I'll be attending with my dad, brother and nephew for 4 total. We will bring beer. I'll refrain from bringing Miller High Life or Pabst Blue Ribbon and instead provide some quality brown ale. Perhaps Newcastle Brown Ale or Bass Ale, but it will depend upon what is available at the store. The plan is to arrive around 11 or 1130.

Other suggestions for brown ales would be Brooklyn Brown Ale, Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale or Duck Rabbit Brown Ale. I't bet they are all available at Total Wine in Derm or Sam's Quick Shop on Erwin Road. Sam's is really close to East Campus but I am not sure where the TW is in Derm. CB&B would know. Google would, too .

Miss Fran plans to join us this coming Saturday. Many of you kindly signed a card for her that I circulated around the tailgate tent this past Saturday. You might recall that her brother was in ICU and his condition was critical. Sadly, he passed away while we were at the Duke-Richmond game.

Anywho, Fran is looking forward to Saturday's game and to seeing everyone.

I need to find my drop-off pass. I can't believe I've misplaced it. (First the binoculars, now the drop-off pass. What's next?)

The OP's flight didn't get him here in time for tailgate. We just made it in time for kick off. Sorry to have missed the friends and food!!!

I was proud of Duke again today. The students showed up (Native on the front row again). The band sounded great and stayed on the job. We had a decent crowd all dressed in blue on our side. The team showed improvement (offensive coordinator aside).

It dawns on me, however, that one very simple and relatively inexpensive change in WW would get more people into the stands. Just raise the wall around the top. Half the people at games are standing around watching from up there. Bless their hearts but get their fannies down there into the seats!
