I'm surprised. I thought he'd go to JGR.

Joey Freakin' Logano (JFL) gets the pole at Pocono, followed by KK, Truex, Edwards, and Kurt Busch.

Three of us got the top two on our teams.

No commentary Sunday at Pocono, as I'll be driving ATL-Lexington.

Tonight's Nationwide Race ended a la Talladega Nights. Carl Edwards and teammate Ricky Stenhouse Jr were racing 1,2 at several points, including a stretch some 40 laps from the end, when Edwards got even for the week before (when Stenhouse dinged Edwards), dinging the sidedoor of Stenhouse. The owner of the team had to settle both drivers down. On the last lap, Edwards was not catching Stenhouse. On the last turn, Stenhouse's engine blew up, billowing white smoke. Edwards had to duck below to miss Stenhouse and win, but he had no choice. The smoke blocked his vision, and he crashed into the rear of Stenhouse. The crash impact pushed Stenhouse across the line 1st, followed by Edwards, who got the worst of it. :-o

I finally watched it last week. Better than I expected, but still stupid.

Yep. I would have been happier if more rain would have shown up.

Somehow I managed to actually beat knights by a little. That was one of the worst race weeks in fantasy league (in terms of average performance). knights and I really lowered things.

I lead knights by 17 pts, who leads Ymo by 38 pts, who leads Tilly by 303 pts, who leads colchar by 107 pts.

Looks like Usul is out of picks with Harvick, Ambrose, Burton, and Smith.

On to the Tony Stewart Invitational... a.k.a. Watkins Glen!!

Given the rain delay in today's race, I saw only about 2/3 of the race on DVR. I saw none of the last 1/3 of the race. Glad Kes won; Blech came in 2nd. Apparently Kurt Busch and JJ had some rough racing in the last lap, and had to be separated after the race... JJ was the hothead.

A special note to colchar: the next time this year that I choose KK for my starting team, remind me how much of an unlucky driver he is. Dude started 2nd and finished 406 billionth. At least JFLogano's bad showing was a result of a blown tire.

Brian Vickers had a bad car go to the garage early. David Ragan crashed early in a textbook case of STUPID driving.

I am not out of picks with anyone yet this year but it is becoming a real juggling act, especially in Group C.

Consider it done.

At least JFLogano's bad showing was a result of a blown tire.

I was hoping he would have done better and would have been perfectly happy if they hadn't restarted as he was in first when the delay hit.

Be cheeky, take a chance and select out of the norm, if not A drivers, try a B or a C. I am gonna take a crap shoot on a C driver just for sport! LOL

I set them on Tuesday or Wednesday. I don't remember who I picked but do think I went with the conventional road racer selects.

Who gets the pole?
BLECHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
He edged out Dinger, followed by Ambrose, JJ, JPM, and Rocketman.
Smoke starts in 7th.

NOTE: I'll be traveling between Paducah and Lexington during the race. Hopefully someone will post updates, right?

I was going to watch, but now I'm going to go work on the interior for a '68 Firebird. I may be able to listen to it on the radio.

Postponed due to rain. I guess that is why I heard the 1996 Bud at the Glen on Sirius after I finished working on the Firebird for the day.

Thanks to maintenance on the Yahoo site, I have no idea who I picked for the race.

What a crazy last lap today!!

Okay, AMBROSE finally wins!! He outdueled Kes, who snuck by Blech, who overdrove and lost the lead in the early part of the last lap.

About halfway through the lap, however, Said hooked Ragan back around 20th, causing him to go slamming and flying, but not before tagging Reutimann who went FLYING as well. Meanwhile, shortly after, Smoke caught grass, bumped and wrecked, sinking from 7th to 27th. It was THEN that NASCAR called the race.
:Angry Orc:
Asses should have called the race when Ragan and Reutimann crashed.

By the way, these crashes were VISCIOUS. Hamlin also crashed a some 15 laps earlier; brakes didn't work, and he went headfirst into the tires and then the wall. Amazing that these drivers EACH walked away from the crashes.
