I dont see how the racecar drivers stand the heat in the cars, and will driving so many laps around a hot track.

Do they use cold packs under their uniforms? And then they put on those hot helmets.

Even with the cold boxes, their uniforms, helmets, heat from the cars on a hot track and high temperatures, will still be uncomfortable to endure for all the hours of racing these racecar professionals do. The drivers are certainly trained athletes and professionals.

David Ragan takes the poll, followed by KK, and JJ.
Ford did very well with the starting positions. Ford has also entered into the Carl Edwards negotiations. Edwards looks like he'll sign with Joe Gibbs OR re-sign with Roush-Fenway. If he goes to Gibbs, he'd drive Toyota. There' also some talk that Joey Freakin' Logano would leave, but there's also some talk that Gibbs Racing would become a four-car team, with Edwards joinging Blech, Hamlin, and Logano.

It's still early, but at this point, I have to alert everyone that colchar is praying for an end to the race immediately. So far, his picks are: 1,2,3,4.

At this point, I wonder when he says that he wishes he had chosen someone he left on the bench.

Pit stops in laps 25-28.
Problems: Smoke got a penalty when Harvick forced him to run over the entry cone.
Problem: JPM dinged Burton in the pits, forcing Burton to pass through, and re-enter the pits on the next lap. JPM can be such a jerk.
Lap 34: Caution: debris; will help Gililand rejoin the lead lap. Also helps Smoke and Burton get caught up.
Looks like Blech is responsible for the debris... he threw his f'ing water bottle onto the infield, but it bounced back onto the track. Blech ought to get a penalty for littering.
KK & JG have fantastic cars today.
Kurt Busch dinged the wall in the first lap, but has slowly adjusted.
Some cars are coming in to the pits, some are not.

Jr & Bayne both have come in for unscheduled greens... debris got caught in their grills, raising their engine temps. It's cost both of them dearly.

Lap 50: Caution: Reutimann busted a tire... this should allow Jr to catch up.
Ambrose gets a free pass. He had been lapped. Burton also benefits from this.
