After the first sprint, Cavendish picks up another two points over Rojas, who is in 2nd place in the race for the green jersey. After the sprint, however, Cavendish had a bike problem, switched bikes, and had to rejoin the peloton. He burned some energy to regain position with the peloton.
This MAY pose a problem in the final sprint of the day.

Cavendish wins the race, and the green jersey in a fantastic leadout train finish. Boasson Hagen, Greipel, Farrar, and CANCELLARA finished out the top 5 for today's race.

We have two Specialized bikes in our family, so we were pulling for Cavendish over Garmin-Cervelo yesterday.
