Odd but serious question.

Post by EarlJam » June 21st, 2011, 9:35 am

Does the area around the anus absorb food, drink, nutrients much like the stomach? For example, if you were to give yourself a Vodka enima, would you feel the effects of alcohol? Seriously. Or if you shoved a vitamin or narcotic up your butt, would it have the same effect?

Let me preface by saying that as a prosecutor, I have no firsthand experience with this, not even on the legitimate pharmaceutical level.

EJ, the area around the anus does absorb narcotics well. I'm not sure about vitamins, but there are people who will take drugs this way. I believe it is supposed to work faster than through ingestion, but I don't know if it is supposed to provide more of a high.

There are pharmaceuticals that are prescribed as suppositories, as well. When my friend Leon, who has a very sensitive stomach, gets the throwing-up flu, he is prescribed anti-nausea medications in a suppository form, because he would throw up the liquid or the pill.

Alcoholics have given themselves liquor enemas and killed themselves dead very quickly. The alchohol is absorbed into the bloodstream very quickly and in more quantity. One of the resident medical folks could explain the reasons better, but all in all, it's a very bad idea.

So basically, the anus can work much like the mouth for taking in nutrients and such. If you had severe stomach troubles, or if your mouth were say, blown off by a grenade, a good temporary fix would be to take in food and nutrients through the anus? Good to know. I wonder if a race did this over time if, through evolution, the body would develop teeth for the anus.............."ass teeth," if you will. It's an interesting thought, if a perhaps a bizarre one.

Gives new meaning to the phrases: "Drunk of Your Ass" or "Bottoms Up".

Since I really was unaware of alcohol enemas, I googled it. People use beer, wine and liquor. ARE the younger kids (teens/tweens) doing this?

"Son, have you been drinking? Let me smell your ass."

Or, would cops use an "Assolyzer?" :)

EJam,
I hear tell that they have doctors who readily contribute to the discussion OY. Why not post this question OY? ;)
Let me know what happens. :))

Ah! But Lavabe, as much as I would love to post, I am still bannished from OY! I am the "Pete Rose" of the Duke Basketball Report boards. Will I ever be allowed back? Only time will tell. I have refrained from any negative comments like, "F*ck those f*cking f*ckers" or "DBR can stick its boards up its dark, smelly a**hole," or "Biffman and Jumbo can kiss my a** and burn in Hell," or even, "I hate those twip-crockin' moggle foogers."

So hopefully my kindness and professional approach will lead to some kind of reinstatement in the future. We shall see.

Otherwise, I would love to post the question.

I wonder what would happen OY if someone posted a post that began with "EarlJam wants to know. . ."

Or, one could simply do the proverbial, "A friend of mine wants to know ..."

Ozzie, you should try and post this OY! YOU have several Sporks to spare. I am still trying to get out of the Negative. It helped that one week, when several CTN gave me Props and Good comment sporks. I just need a few more.

But maybe Cathy will post OY, Earl Jam wants to know. They certainly wouldnt be ugly to a Lady attorney!!!

Seriously, are the teens or tweens or college kids doing these Alcohol enemas? Or is it random? You guys keep me up to date !!!

Would a Smellogist do the "Assolyzer" test? Bend over and fart and sniff/smell? Do you use a Butt Wipe or Ass Wipe to also conduct the "Assolyer" test?
