Re: Happy Birthday to Ima!
Thanks for all the thoughtful messages on what was a very busy Saturday! I'm assuming the Brill got spread and VDB got celebrated in a manner befitting her sweet self!
I was in a marvelous state of gratification all day as I watched Native do his thing in front of a huge audience in the convention center. He was in his element as student body president. (Gosh, I hope politics isn't in his future!) He introduced the Principal, presented a check from the class of 2011 in the fitting amount of $2011, and then made a short speech presenting the class of 2011 for their diplomas. He was wearing his Duke Blue bow tie, kept his mortar board on straight, and was the cutest one!
Just being there to see it all made turning 71 worth it.
Love, Ima
