2011 Spelling Bee

Sorry to see the Canadian entries of Veronica and Laura miss the top prize. The winner wound up taking the title on:

cymotrichous

Definition?
Part of speech?
Language of origin?
Can you use it in a sentence?
Any alternate pronunciations?

all the kids in the competition were great!! :-BD

Yeah, but how many of them can spell Krzyzewski? And even I can't spell Wojohowski, as I proved OY ;) :D
