Congratulations to our own local American Idol, Garner's Scotty McCreery!

Wouldn't surprise me to see him sing in Cameron next winter.

I'm very happy for Scotty.

I'm also relieved that my client wanted to watch the end of the show so that our meeting could FINALLY end.

Do folks in the Pacific Time Zone watch it at the same time as those of us in the eastern Zone, or do they watch it 3 ours afterwards?

Not in real time. They'll watch it in their time zone.

Many times, in order to avoid spoilers, I would stay off of the internet in order to get the thrill of watching the show. Tonight, many of my west coast friends are absent from FB. I imagine they're avoiding the spoilers of those of us on the east coast.

Sporting events usually are live (unless it's Olympic competition).

If I cared about AI, and had watched it more than twice in the past 8 years, I probably would have been pretty upset that this wasn't labeled as a spoiler.... ;)

It will probably end up on You Tube, but right after the show, the 10:00 news came on in Atlanta. The female anchor (Amanda Davis) began the lead-in but was so shaken she began to tear up and cry. The runner-up was from Georgia and Idol fans down here were obviously pulling for her. The other anchor had to fill in for her as she could not go on. Unbelievable.

That would be awesome!!! Or perhaps, at the first Football game, in Wallace Wade. But Scotty will be touring with American Idol, and working on his First Album. I would expect Scotty to also, after the AI tour, to go on tour with a big Country Singer, and be the opening act.

North Carolina has ruled American Idol over the seasons. With winners and Top 10: Scotty, Clay Aiken, Daughtry, Bucky Covington, Fantasia, Kellie Pickler, and more.

Everyone knows where Garner, North Carolina is located now!!!
