Heh heh. . . the minister mentioned it in his homily at the wedding I attended tonight. He told the couple that many people had looked forward to this day--some because of the Preakness, others because of the Rapture, and most of us because it was Cameron and Mark John's wedding day. "By the way," he added, "It's ten minutes after six o'clock, and we're all still here." Everyone laughed. Some applauded.

Any idea what excuse the dude who came up with this scam is now offering?

I bet it's something similar to what Linus offers every year when asked about the Great Pumpkin.

So how was your trip to the Great White North?

It was great to watch real hockey coverage. Grapes was in prime form.

Yeah, a lot of us wish they would come back. There was an anniversary special a couple of years ago that was really really good and I should probably check if it is available anywhere.

Oh, as an added bonus, he's saying that the decision on who would be taken was made on 5/21/2011 and that he's said ALL ALONG that the actual end of the world is 10/21/2011. L-)

This guy clearly has the creative ability that's necessary for data analysis in the Pushy PI lab.

And when that fails, he'll say that it was Sepvember21, 2011.
