In the overall points lead, Marvin leads the next closest competitor, Ymo, by about 100 points, with me another 100 points behind that. Usul is about 20 points behind me, and then another 80 points further back is colchar, closely followed by Tilly, Robert, and mph. Miles appears not to be entering any picks. Would love to see Miles back in the league!

wwooo wwhhoooo, another win for Marvin's Mayhem! It was a good race, pity about the late race carnage. lol
On to Darlington!

There is a race tonight. I plan on watching this one. Reds are done this afternoon and I'll probably watch a film after that. Yard is mowed and the rain is headed this way.

I'll be honest, I didn't watch more than 40 laps of last night's race. Haven't checked the CTN standings yet. I know I didn't do so well.

Well, colchar won last night, I fell to fourth, Usul passed me, and the top two didn't change.

As for the race, here's a couple of words of warning:
1) If you watched Pacquio box Mosley, you missed out on the big war... Blech & Harvick. Late in the race, Blech was tapped by Harvick, then 15 or so laps later, Blech hooked Harvick (who was in the top 10 most of the night), spinning Harvick, who bashed into teammate Bowyer. Bowyer was knocked out of the race, but Harvick continued (and continued to vent about Blech). After the end of the race, Harvick blocked Blech from coming in to the garage, Harvick got out of the car, and started wailing with helmet at Blech's car... just as Blech tapped Harvick's parked car... which made Harvick's car peel left, right into the pit road wall, busting Harvick's front end. Blech drove off. Both crews went after each other. Harvick had a few choice words at Blech in one interview, before both were summoned to NASCAR folks. After the talking, both (mostly Harvick) shut up quickly.
2) No fireworks from the MOntoya - Newman feud.
3) Yet Montoya tapped JJ, spinning him out early. JJ asked "What did I do?" His crew chief had a few words about Montoya. JJ spun out again later in the race, but regained his position eventually.
4) The worst accident other than Harvick-Bowyer was Ragan being tapped, spinning, slicing off the driver side metal and foam off Vickers' car. Don't know that we'll see any fireworks from Vickers.
5) Last week's rant against his team didn't improve Kurt Busch's performance this week.
6) Last week's rant against his team didn't improve Martin Truex's performance this week.

Boys, have at it!!

FWIW, Harvick & Blech were fined and placed on double-secret probation. :o)

TOUGH crash for Logano, Bowyer, Kes, Blech, and about six others during Green-White-Checker in the Nationwide race today. Expect more of the same in Sprint Cup tomorrow.

Kenseth Wins, followed by MM, Ambrose, and Blech.

JJ led most laps. JJ, Edwards, and Bowyer were killing this race until the final pit stop, under yellow, with 30 laps to go. They went with 4 tire changes; most others went with 2. MM took 0 tires (he stayed out). Stupid.

Kahne and Dinger went out with engine issues. Smith had a track bar issue.

In terms of fantasy points, I think I'm falling further. Beats me who won today. No fantasy racing for two weeks.

I left the first and second place finishers on the bench this week.

While I've won three races so far this session, I've had more crappy dead last finishes than I can ever remember having in the past so those three wins are easily negated by my suckitude in other weeks. It seems I am either great or crap this year with nothing in between.

Marvin held his own, but it was Tilly who won this week, narrowly defeating Usul. In terms of overall standings, no changes took place in rankings, but Usul now has a 100 pt lead over me. And Tilly is now a mere 30 pts below colchar.

Congrats to Queen Tilly!! :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

So what is the fine for doing 128 in a 45mph zone? L-) Kyle Busch was test driving a Lexus and didn't watch his speed. :ymblushing:

That has to be some fine!

Racing at Charlotte tonight.

Although I don't have him on my picks for tonight, GOT to like Jamie Mac. The Bass Pro Shops people have taken off their side banner on his car so that he can have "HOPE FOR JOPLIN, MO" on his car. Jamie Mac's hometown is ... Joplin, Mo.

Boogity, boogity, boogity!!

Highlights of the pre-race show:
Michael Waltrip reports that Columbia Pictures has purchased rights to make into a movie his story. Oh dear!!
Hootie sang the anthem.
Jaws says in less than a second that Danica will be in NASCAR next year. FWIW, Danica was in the lead late in today's INDY 500, and finished 8th. She should have done better, but had two horrible breaks in the pits.

50 out of 400 laps done
So far, Edwards is having a field day, but Dinger is in the lead.
Jeff Burton also racing well, as is Hamlin.
Biffle having AConditioning issues.
Still hot and bright sunlight.

135 out of 400 laps done.
The in-race communication with Biffle is HILARIOUS. It's WAY hot out there, with no AC being pumped into his helmet, and his pit crew didn't tell him that they decided not to remove the AC unit.
After an initial 45 laps commanded by Edwards, it's been Ragan, then Hamlin, and now KENSETH, in the lead. Kenseth is expanding his lead to 3 seconds.
Hamlin 2nd, Edwards 3rd, Ragan 4th, Blech 7th, JJ 8th...
