This is wrong on so many levels...color is horrible on her, it doesn't fit her worth a damn..it is bunching and riding up all over the place...this is a dress for a 5'10" 20 something bone rack. She is none of those things. Does she not own any makeup? A hairbrush? The black shoes, hat and clutch are out of balance with the color and fabric on the dress...

icky icky icky bad.

P.S. Someone needs to post the video clip of Johnny from the movie, "Airplane!" doing his whole, "Where did you get that DRESS!? It's Awful!" schtick.

See, I thought EarlJam would have been more interested in the WWII vintage Spitfires and Hurricane that did the flyover precisely when the couple did their second kiss.

The Spitfire is just WAY cool!! :ymapplause:

That was the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight consisting of one Spitfire, one Hurricane, and one Lancaster bomber.

I am rather shocked that Kate didn't place her bridal bouquet on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier as she left the Abbey. Talk about breaking tradition.

She did not break tradition. Neither the Queen nor Sarah placed their bouquets on the Tomb. HRH Princess William, Dutchess of Cambrigde's bouquet will be placed at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier after pictures are taken.

These kneelers match the upholstery on my living room sofa. Someone has exquisite taste.

The British papers were saying that she was to do it as she left.

I haven't watched all the wedding yet but did hear that she had multiple bouquets so that they would always look fresh for the pictures. Did anyone see her not leave a bouquet or could she have left one and carried a different one out of the Abbey?

Of course, they kept talking about Diana's wedding throughout what I caught this morning - she may have been the one with multiple bouquets.

I think that religious guy's gold hat is pretty cool (as are his other threads). The hat almost looks like an over-sized baby bird's beak, beak open and reaching up to the sky from the nest to accept the worm from its mother. Cool.

Well if the British papers said it, it must be correct. ;)

That would be the Archbishop of Canterbury. That's a position of huge ecclesiastical and historical significance.
And yeah, he does kind of look like he's been attired by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

Hey, mods, does this need to be merged with the snark thread? ;)

And, since we're snarking, I believe that Camilla needs to pay a visit to CathyCA's cosmetic dentist.

Heavens, yes! Camilla can certainly afford it, and Dr. F. needs a wealthy patient so that he can put gas in that big new SUV I bought for him.

Catherine changed into a second wedding dress for the evening's festivities. This strapless satin dress which was topped with an angora bolero jacket was also designed by Sarah Burton of the house of McQueen. This ensemble was simply stunning:
