THE Dress
Spot on Kate. Stunning. Classic. Perfect.
Pippa's dress was spectacular. Well done. Well done.

Re: THE Dress
I agree with you on Kate's dress, but what does Kelly Ripa's dress have to do with anything? She doesn't even come on TV until 9 a.m.windsor wrote:Spot on Kate. Stunning. Classic. Perfect.

For the record: Regis calls Rippa Pippa (but I'm pretty sure you knew that).windsor wrote:PIPPA on the left, Rippa on the right.
Off the record: I'm with Wilson ;)

I never watch Regis. Ever.

See, I thought EarlJam would have been more interested in the WWII vintage Spitfires and Hurricane that did the flyover precisely when the couple did their second kiss.EarlJam wrote:I'll be back in ten minutes.windsor wrote:PIPPA on the left, Rippa on the right.

I don't know why she had her roots touched up since she covered up her roots with this monstrous hat. I love the suit, the kid gloves are a nice touch, and once again, Camilla has great taste in bracelets.

The bride's mum wore a Catherine Walker, one of Diana's favorite designers. It was perfect.

Re: THE Dress
I got up at 4am, to watch the arrivals of all the guests. Loved all the ladies hats! (Maybe not the quirky antelope hat!)
Kate's Mother was stunning and classy... the best dress and hat!
Pippa was gorgeous, as were the little bridesmaids.
Kate was stunning, gorgeous, classy and just so beautiful! One of the special moments, was when Prince William whispered to Kate, how beautiful she was, before the vows!
Loved it when Prince Harry, was turning around when Kate walked down the Westminister Abbey, and whispered to Prince William. (Probably how beautiful she was! Or, that he was going after Pippa, the sister! lol)
And sealed with a Double Kiss!
I am sure Princess Diana is very proud of her son, and his bride.

Oh, cool! I definitely WOULD have been more interested in the Spitfires and Hurricanes had I been watching. After the flyover, I would have turned the channels. Very cool indeed!Lavabe wrote:See, I thought EarlJam would have been more interested in the WWII vintage Spitfires and Hurricane that did the flyover precisely when the couple did their second kiss.EarlJam wrote:I'll be back in ten minutes.windsor wrote:PIPPA on the left, Rippa on the right.

Re: THE Dress
One word: SPANX
This is wrong on so many levels...color is horrible on her, it doesn't fit her worth a damn..it is bunching and riding up all over the place...this is a dress for a 5'10" 20 something bone rack. She is none of those things. Does she not own any makeup? A hairbrush? The black shoes, hat and clutch are out of balance with the color and fabric on the dress...
icky icky icky bad.

Re: THE Dress
The bride's dress was brilliant! Considering the influence such clothing tends to have on what's in the marketplace, perhaps we'll see an upswing in the grace and elegance of wedding dresses for the next year or so. (Devildeac daughters are no doubt considering equally graceful and elegant dresses.)
The music chosen was just right for the ceremony. The homily was quite well done.
The idea of having the trees in the nave was absolutely brilliant! Their presence made the whole scene take on a fairytale quality with a modern twist.
