Why do I get the feeling that starting Jr. today is going to bite me in the ass like it always does?

I started him a few times in last year's spring session but he never paid off so I don't think I picked him, much less started him, again for any race in either the summer or fall sessions.

I'm about to run out to the store to grab a couple of things, when I come back I fully expect to see some Lemur Lover commentary on the race. It just ain't as much fun without it!

About halfway into the magic roulette wheel. They're in their 2nd yellow, just having pitted after an accident.

So far, here are the ones who are out.
Vickers (early accident).

2nd accident involved Kes, sliding up to the wall, hitting Kahne; Cassill, Ragan, Ambrose, and Bayne also hit each other. All are OUT.

Too much magic roulette wheel position changes.

Practically all but 12 of the remaining drivers have led.

I think nearly everyone has Jr. on their B list.

Overall, Bowyer is having a great day. The Busch brothers are also.
But right now, it's a crap shoot.
75 laps to go.

Big Accident with 50 laps to go.
Joey F'ing Logano taps Blech into the wall (car survives), then spins down into Kenseth. JFL to blame, causes Blech to smash Kenseth.

Well, that does it for me. I had Blech.
Everyone pits, including Blech.

Well, I just lost it again.
Newman creams Montoya's front right, but both are still racing.

Lap 14 Newman spins out, bringing out the caution. He'll still be racing, as he didn't touch the wall.

Both he and Montoya pit before everyone. Montoya comes onto the track, but I think they will not let him continue, as his right front wheel is tilted.

5 laps to go
I MAY get 100 pts this week, if I'm lucky. I'm going way down.
STILL crazy racing out there.

Order of finish:
JJ, Bowyer (THRILLING FINISH), JG, Jr, Harvick, Edwards, Biff, MM, Gililand, Logano, Dinger.

JJ owes Jr a TON! JJ wins by an inch... if that. 4 wide at the line.

I think DukeUsul edged me out, but for the win this week looks to go to YMO!!!!.
Preliminarily,
Ymo looks to be first, followed closely by RobertDuke (WOW!), then DukeUsul (another great finish!) and me & Tilly rounding out the top 5.
Miles, Colchar, MPH & Lavabe close out the lower ranks this week.

Was that a great finish or what? 0.002 of a second win for Johnson!

Don't look now, but Jr is 3rd in the race for the chase. :-o

You know the 'survive and advance' theory that is applied to the NCAA tournament every year? Well I apply that same theory to races at 'Dega.

On to the next one...

I couldn't watch the carnage that usually accompanies 'dega so instead I mowed the lawn, vacuumed the house, and listened to the Reds on the radio.
