This topic is too interesting to get buried in the depths of the LTE. Here is what has been posted so far.

From all I've heard and seen of the two of them, this doesn't surprise me in the least. Do provide us with any interesting updates. Perhaps some of it should end up in the Snark Thread before day's end.
The two of them in the same room conjures up images of spontaneous combustion!
I wonder if Gary can sue Debbie for libel, or defamation of character, if it turns out that he actually didn't talk to anyone?
P.S. Here is more on the story.

After the press conference, Yow was asked if she planned to speak to the ACC about this, she said they already know.
I contacted the ACC asking if they had any comment on the verbal volleys between Yow and Williams. "This is something we are aware of and the matter will be handled appropriately," said Associate Commissioner Amy Yakola.

I understand Ms Yow's frustrations with Gary Williams. Everyone knows there was no love between Yow and Williams at Maryland.
The conference was for the new Coach. I wonder how he feels, or felt during that question/answer to AD Yow?
Do I think Gary Williams said negative things about Debbie Yow and the NC State job? YES, I wouldnt put anything past Sweat Gary Sweat.
Do I think Debbie Yow, making those statements or her feelings in the introduction of the new Coach, appropriate? Absolutely NOT!
Ms Yow, just should said either No Comment or called the reporter OUT for asking an inappropriate question at this conference. Like Coach K did to the reporter asking about Kyrie, after Duke got pounced on by Zona.

Giving your honest opinion when asked is not the same as purposefully torpedoing someone. I have a feeling that Gary did the former, not the latter.

Obviously Ms Yow and Coach Gary Williams have a love hate or hate love or just plain hate hate relationship.
I hope the new Coach at NCState isnt regretting his decision to take the position. NcState needs a new beginning on their Mens Basketball team. I would like to see State bring back some level of competition to their program. Not a national championship, but good enough to make the NCAA tourney(like during the Herb days).
