Vibes and prayers needed for Liz and Josh

Josh is DukePA's son and our grandson. His girlfriend, Liz lost her mother yesterday. This was very unexpected. Liz was very close to her mother. Vibes and prayers needed.

Oh this hurts the heart. She's so lucky, though, to have Josh to stick by her through this. We're saying our prayers and hoping they don't feel lonely, but can sense all our CrazieTalk arms around them as they travel.

Thank you again, everyone. The vibes and prayers are being felt. The kids arrived in Illinois this morning at 8:30. Adam did the bulk of the driving and is a real hero. Josh is much like me in that I didn't slow down or think until last night when it all crashed on me. It hit Josh hard this morning. Liz's very small family is there with them and Liz's sister, Chrissy. It looks like Josh and Liz will move back to Illinois to live with Chrissy. I'll miss them, but this is for the best. Their dad lives about an hour away and was divorced from their mom, Mickie, but has stayed very close to them all. The two of them just couldn't live together. Mickie, had surgery last year and told them to take care of each other if anything happened to her, so they are going to honor her wish.

At this point we're not certain what happened, but we do know that Mickie had a thoracic aortic aneurysm. It was closely monitored and at the last check was 2cm. They don't typically perform surgery until an aneurysm reaches 5cm. It's likely that caused her death. She was at home and it was quick. She will have a VA funeral since she was an Army nurse and was always very proud of her service.

Keep the vibes and prayers coming. You guys are the best.

This is tragic. So much for them to handle. It hurts the heart when there is so little one can do to help when lives are turned upside down this way. Lets all stay close in spirit. Big, big vibes on the way.
