Jimmer Fredette of BYU, Nolan Smith of Duke and JaJuan Johnson, all seniors, were joined on the team Monday by junior Kemba Walker of Connecticut and freshman Jared Sullinger of Ohio State.

Congratulations Nolan Smith!

I'm obviously excited for Nolan, and he well deserves the honor. But more broadly speaking, it's really refreshing to see the All-American first team populated entirely by kids who actually take the notion of being citizens of their schools seriously alongside their athletic pursuits.
Congrats to all five of them.
