A great moment from interview with Laettner, who seemed out of breath. Patrick asked him if he was outside or working outside. Laettner: "I'm just cleaning up a bit around the pool."

Patrick: "Sounds like you're fertilizing the lawn. The pool. Hey, what shape is your pool?"

Laettner: "What shape is my pool?"

Patrick: "Yes; what is the shape of your pool?"

Laettner (pause): "A rectangle."

Patrick. "Oh."

I love the Dan Patrick show. And of course, my 22-year man-crush on Laettner continues.

Christian Laettner's basketball academy has this on the front page. What a dick. I love it!

I’m looking for the committed and experienced players and coaches who want to improve!! I offer discounts to all players, teams and coaches who hail from the states of Kentucky, North Carolina and Connecticut. This comes from the compassion and generosity of my heart and soul for causing you all so much pain, agony and hate over my four year career at Duke!! In state Florida players also receive a discount.

A couple of other notes:

1. Laettner basically agreed with Dan Patrick that Battier gave Duke a bad rep for "flopping." Said Laettner, "Yeah, he did." Laettner all but said he was no big fan of the charge adding, "....let's put it this way, I never came close to winning the award for drawing charges." I found that a bit surprising.

2. Kyrie quote I found humorous: "I have all the faith in the world in my toe."
