RIP Elizabeth. We've lost an icon.

Sadly, I remember her most for Michael Jackson and commercials. R.I.P. to a great American icon.

She was glamorous, talented, and generous with her spotlight. She lent her celebrity to the fight against AIDS and improved the lives of so many people in doing so.

My favorite quote from Elizabeth Taylor: "It is bad enough that people are dying of AIDS, but no one should die of ignorance."

Rest in peace. . .

She was great, but towards the end she really let herself go and lost her way in the business. She hasn't done anything significant in years. I'm glad she's dead.

Oops. Had her mixed up with Zsa Zsa, who has been through hell. Sorry.

MAGGIE THE CAT has passed away. CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF. The best classic Elizabeth Taylor movie with the handsome Paul Newman. RIP

Beats me how she could have been only 17 in 1956 and die at 79 in 2011. She had to have been 24 when she made A Place in the Sun . I was 16 in l956 and I know she was quite a bit older than me then. I remember the movie. All of us were dying for that dress from the pool table scene to wear to our prom. No doubt much would have been lost in translation when you factor in our acne and braces. Bless our hearts.
Love, Ima
