The Halloween thread inspired this....although I carve some nifty pumpkins I can 't draw...at all. I love to sing. I have a voice like a bird. Alas, the bird is a duck.

So what talent/ability do you wish you had? I'd pick singing - I wouldn't care if it was professional caliber...just something beyond room clearing and milk souring.

Oh...and it has to possible - so teleportation, x-ray vision are OUT.

I wish I had better balance so I could surf and skateboard.

I wish I could sing too. I can nail Joe Jack Talcum (the Dead Milkmen) and Gordon Gano (the Violent Femmes), but they both sing off-key.

I wish I could draw/paint.

I wish I could tell the future. I can! at 11:42 a.m. I will post about wanting to be able to tell the future. Now to just wait an hour...

I can sing. I can play the piano. Alas, I am unable to do both at the same time. I wish I could accompany myself on the piano.

I'd also like to be able to play the guitar.

Learning again is a pain in the arse as I keep forgetting that I've spent less than ten hours playing and simply cannot expect myself to be getting anywhere just yet.

I wish I could sing. I can only stay in tune if someone else is singing otherwise I'm all over the place. I also wish I could dance, but I'm so uncoordinated that I was laughed at during the only aerobic class I ever took.

I can play the piano...well technically I can play...put music in front of me and I can play it, as written...but I have no gift if that makes any sense. I would love to play the violin (WindsorsMother can) - I love violins...they can laugh...they can dance...they can cry.... but learning to play one is akin to the sound of skinning cats and generally makes any listening cry!

I wish I could still play racketball. With my ankle & knee replacement, I doubt it would be wise.
