Whats in your drawers?

Post by knights68 » October 6th, 2009, 12:27 pm

Everyone has at least one. So what's in your junk drawer?
Where is your junk drawer?
I have one, it's in my kitchen and currently has chop sticks; delivery menu's from three local places; wooden matchsticks; batteries; and tape.

So what's in your drawers?

Oh....that kind of drawer....well then...

Nail files, batteries, rubber bands, coupons, scissors, keys (what they open no one knows), flash light, candle holders, paper clips, light up cow key chain that goes 'moooo', kleenex, change, menus, old cell phone, assorted chargers (what they charge no one knows) -- can you tell it is a BIG drawer.
All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.

The drawer that used to be my sock drawer now has everything but. It has fishing tackle, reciepts, a chessboard with chess pieces, a pocket knife of two, loose change and some cool rocks I found. My socks are all on the floor.

Exactly. I thought something else, too.

Which junk drawer do you want to know about? The ones in the kitchen, the den or my office? There are multiple junk drawers in each location. That's what happens when you live in a house for 30 years.

I'm still unpacking, so I'm not sure which drawer is going to be my junk drawer.

I have plenty of junk that needs to be unboxed and put away.

You know what's super cool? Being a kid in your grandparents' house and rummaging through the "30 year drawer". Young minds are blown away by obsolete objects.

By the time she is old enough to rummage through stuff, it'll be a 35 year drawer. B-)
